At a recent networking event, one of my networking colleagues expressed concern that the market for her services was too big.
Just maybe, she was thinking the market was too big for her systems to do a good enough job at promoting her message.
With the right tools, though, it is possible to reach our people, no matter how many we seek to communicate with.
And with the right approach we can reach people who:
- Might become clients
- Might become our natural advocates and advocates of our businesses; or
- Might wish to join our teams
If we do a good enough job at explaining who we are, what we do and what we stand for, our messaging will cut through like a hot knife through butter.
Plus, of course, under a “more the merrier” scenario, we can choose who we end up focusing our attention on. They will be those people who are engaging with our work and giving it the most attention.
