The wise words of Scott F Fitzgerald and a poorly constructed (but clean) limerick.
Mr. Fitzgerald once said:
“You don’t write because you want to say something, you write because you have something to say.”
Maybe, in this current Age, his quote might be tweaked to:
“You don’t write because you want to say something, you write because you have something to say, even if the algorithm doesn’t reward you!”
For when we release our written nuggets into the world: written nuggets which:
- Explain what it is we do
- Explain how we do it
- Explain why we do it and
- Describe whom we serve.
It is literally that. It’s a release. We can relax, if we aren’t concerned about the algorithmic outcome.
Even if our nugget is a poorly constructed limerick:
“There was once a lady called Jane
Whose new business development was a bit of a pain
One call to New Era made things a lot clearer
And now everything is as right as rain.”
I apologise!
Good luck with all your endeavours.
Thank you for reading.
