Today I’m starting a new series of posts.
Friday Finds will be my attempt to bring cool discoveries to my readers. Most of them, I expect, will be online or tech-driven tools designed to help make our lives easier.
However, I might stray and go old school, from time-to-time 
It’s unlikely every Friday Find will be a new discovery for all my connections. I’m expecting a range of impact types from:
- Yes, yes Richard. I knew about xxxx already, to
- Ooh. Thank you Richard. I have come across xxx but had forgotten about it. Thank you for the reminder and
- Oh my word, Richard. I didn’t know xxx existed. I shall start using it all the time!
To start things off, there are two Friday Finds this week.
Google Trends #
Google Trends analyses the popularity of top search queries in Google Search across various regions and languages. The website uses graphs to compare the search volume of different queries over time and Google claims the data used in Trends is updated daily.
Google Trends provides an overall analysis of a subject and breaks the category down into related topics and related queries, allowing us to identify what is hot and what is not.
I’m pleased to say, lead generation is trending strongly at the moment and has been doing so for over a year. Wow. I’m trendy!
